Reunion 2024!

The Chorale is excited to welcome former singers back to campus for a reunion on April 12-14, 2024.  Alumni will have the chance to sing with each other and the Chorale, culminating in a concert in the new Baldwin Auditorium on Sunday, April 14 at 2 pm. 

In addition to getting a chance to sing some old musical favorites we'll be premiering a new piece composed by Chorale Alumnus Sidney Boquiren (Composition PhD '99) on the theme of coming home.

Here's the schedule for the weekend - allowing for lots of singing as well as some free time to explore the vibrant Bull City or other events on campus.

Fri, Apr. 12 5:00-7:00 pm Goodson Chapel, Duke Divinity School - Alumni Rehearsal of Concert Music and Chorale Favorites 

Sat., Apr. 13 10:00-11:59 am Freeman Center for Jewish Life - Dress rehearsal with Current Chorale, luncheon to follow 

Sat., Apr. 13 2:30-4:30 pm Freeman Center for Jewish Life - Alumni Rehearsal of Concert Music and Chorale Favorites 

Sun., Apr. 14 12:30 call, 2:00 pm concert Baldwin Auditorium - Senior and Alumni Concert  

Alumni Concert Repertoire to include world premiere of Sidney Boquiren’s new piece “Home Is…” and music by Rachmaninov, Paulus, Verdi, Poelinitz, Whitacre, and more…
